UWDC was apprehensive about designing a classic annual report that would fall victim to annual report syndrome—barely glanced over and tossed aside. This time, they were enthusiastic about something different. Kramer stepped in and developed a large format, 12-panel direct mail piece that folded into a poster. The rich, primary tones printed so well and the hand drawn infographics helped tell the story in a more illustrative format. Instead of ending up in the recycle bin, these posters were found displayed proudly on office walls, fridges and bulletin boards.
