Offset Press Operator – First Shift

Kramer Madison is seeking a 2-6 color Press Operator who is motivated, self-directed and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic to join our team.  This individual should have a minimum for three years experience running sheetfed presses.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience running sheetfed presses
  • Set up and run press to G7 industry standards
  • Make press adjustments as required to ensure quality standards are met
  • Meet or exceed print efficiency standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of press and press area and perform press maintenance
  • Ability to use PMS color matching book & densitometer to measure dot characteristics
  • Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining highest quality level
  • Mechanical skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Cross train in another area
  • Work in other areas as needed
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Print Production/Mailing Coordinator

Kramer Madison is seeking a Print Production/Mailing Coordinator to join our team. The Print Production/Mailing Coordinator provides project execution support to the client delivery teams, including project management, production status tracking, and production schedule coordination. The ideal candidate will be reliable, honest, hardworking problem solver with a do whatever it takes to get the job done attitude. 


  • Coordinate the print production activities including estimating, scheduling, project management, vendor management, pre-press, printing/personalization and lettershop services.
  • Determine supplies needed to complete production jobs and process orders with suppliers
  • Coordinate the use of outside vendors to complete all or a portion of production-related projects
  • Coordinate projects that may include versioning, data segmentation, multiple mail drops, multi-lingual translations and more
  • Organize and stage fulfillment projects
  • Provide regular updates to the client service delivery team in relation to project milestones.
  • Prepare various address databases for validation in USPS approved CASS software
  • Process bulk address uploads for UPS or FedEx shipping software
  • Additional projects, tasks and/or assignments as needed to support sales and production teams

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2 years of print production, planning or estimating experience.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree, strongly preferred in a graphics, printing related program
  • Requires a solid understanding of offset and digital printing
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good project management skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of lettershop, mailing and the postal service regulations is a plus
  • Accountability and initiative are expected, as well as a “can-do” approach
  • Experience executing projects within tight deadlines.

Bindery/Shipping Specialist

We are currently seeking to build our team by adding a Bindery/Shipping Specialist. The Bindery/Shipping Specialist is a key player in the company, acting as the final touch, producing finished materials that meet customer specifications and Kramer Madison’s high-quality standards.  We are seeking an Individual who enjoys customer service, is self-motivated, enjoys a variety of tasks and either has experience in bindery/shipping or would like to learn these skills.  We are willing to train, but the ability to use a computer Is critical. 


  • Ability to read and understand detailed job tickets
  • Deliver or ship finished product to clients
  • Setup jobs according to customer specifications
  • Safely operate machinery to cut, trim, bind, stitch, fold, collate, etc.
  • Ensure the completion of jobs meeting quality and quantity requirements
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment and make repairs as needed
  • Completes and maintains proper documentation on projects
  • Performs preventative maintenance to keep machines clean, safe and in good working order
  • Maintain organized work area and help in other production departments as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior commercial print shop experience; bindery experience a plus
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Requires a good driving record
  • CDL Is not required, but ability to drive a 16-foot box truck
  • Ability to use computer, Including UPS/FedEx shipping software
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to follow job instructions
  • Lift/move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending is required throughout the shift
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality required
