Customer Service Representative

Kramer Madison is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, problem solving professional to join its Customer Service Team. We are looking for an individual with a unique set of talents for working with customers and our production team to ensure deadlines are met and customer satisfaction is at the highest level.

The ideal applicant would have a strong background in either offset/digital printing, marketing, or design, specifically geared to the customer service functions. They would be able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and have strong written and verbal communication skills. The best candidate for this position would enjoy working with customers and have a strong, positive attitude with a high degree of creativity for problem solving and offering solutions to our customers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Minimum Associate degree required.
  • 3-5 years experience in a printing, marketing or agency environment.
  • High degree of problem solving ability
  • Very detailed oriented
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time well
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.

Corporate Merch Account Executive​

Kramer Madison is looking for a Corporate Merch Account Executive who is highly motivated and solution-oriented with experience in Apparel, Promo and/or Print related field. In this role, you will be developing new client prospects and expanding existing accounts by managing the sales cycle with a consultative approach. You will be the point of contact for clients and work directly with team members to leverage all of Kramer Madison’s expertise. You will assess client goals, and then coordinate with the internal team to produce effective campaigns and deliverables. Responsibilities:

  • Develop meaningful relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Maintain full pipeline of qualified opportunities at various stages of the sales process by utilizing Kramer’s CRM system for tracking opportunities, activities, and tasks.
  • Acquire new and recurring work. Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Understand the needs of our customers and develop solutions for them to strengthen their business by working with us.
  • Stay in tune with the changing demands of the marketplace; research, source and provide recommendations on promotional products.
  • Work collaboratively with internal team and resources to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and achieved.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in business development or sales
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of printing processes and capabilities a plus
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, high energy environment
  • Ability to persuade and engage with people with whom they have never met
  • Confident selling big ideas and offering solutions
  • Track record of success hitting or exceeding sales goals

Cutter/Bindery Operator – First Shift

We are currently seeking to build our team by adding a First Shift Cutter/Bindery Operator. The Cutter/Bindery Operator is a key player in the company, acting as the final touch, producing finished materials that meet customer specifications and Kramer Madison’s high-quality standards. We are seeking an Individual who is self-motivated, enjoys a variety of tasks, and has experience operating bindery equipment. We offer a competitive benefits package, Including 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience operating any bindery equipment, specifically cutters, stitchers, folders, or die-cutters.
  • Ensure the completion of jobs meeting quality and quantity requirements
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment and make repairs as needed
  • Completes and maintains proper documentation on projects
  • Performs preventative maintenance to keep machines clean, safe, and in good working order
  • Maintain organized work area and help in other production departments as needed
  • Ability to read and understand detailed job tickets
  • Setup jobs according to customer specifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Prior bindery experience in the print industry Is required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior commercial print shop experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to follow job instructions
  • Lift / move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending is required throughout the shift
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality required
  • Ability to use computer, Including UPS/FedEx shipping software is a plus
